My Background & Experience

I graduated with my diploma in graphic design from Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI where I discovered my love for web design and WordPress. Now I am a proud entrepreneur as the owner of Allison Woad Designs, a web design business that focuses on helping small business owners with their online presence and marketing.

I have over 7 years of experience in designing and building WordPress websites to re-designing existing ones. I have worked with a wide range of industries, such as consultants, coaches, not-for-profits, restaurants, tourism, and more. Whether your goal is blogging, attracting the right kind of client, building a membership site, email marketing, eCommerce, or E-learning, I've got you covered! Let's get started!

Outside of Work

In my downtime I enjoy playing a good video game/streaming, drawing on my tablet, going for walks on nearby trails, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

My Approach

I take a collaborative approach to every project and get to know your business and your goals by asking the right questions and researching the best approach for you to effectively speak to your target audience. I’m focused on creating solutions that produce the results you are looking for. As a life-long learner, I am constantly seeking opportunities to improve my own approach and business, so that I may use that knowledge to your advantage.

My Availability

I am available for short term and long term contracts from website development to eCommerce integrations, audits, and website migrations. I am also available for remote subcontract work and in-person meetings in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Please give 2-3 weeks' notice before the start date of a large scale project.
