ABOUT THE CLIENT
QCRS Inc. is a not-for-profit organization located in Charlottetown, PEI that has been in operation for almost 40 years, delivering a range of programs and services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
Their programs strive to enrich the lives of their clients, providing person-centered plans that promote self-esteem and well-being; offers continued development and growth; gives opportunity for community involvement and integration; and supports individuals to be the best they can be.

PROJECT DETAILS
The Project:
QCRS had an outdated website that was not meeting their needs of showing the fun and inviting nature at QCRS along with encouraging support and community involvement. The navigation was in need of a complete restructure, an easy way to make website changes in the future, and it needed to be mobile friendly.
The Solution:
The old website pages were reorganized into a new drop down navigation (with some new pages being added in). The new website utilized their branding colors along with some fun accent colors throughout the navigation sections. Image sliders and banners were placed throughout the website to show the helpful, friendly and inviting nature at QCRS. A new donation page was also added detailing the different ways the community could help support the organization.
The website was built using WordPress (to allow for ease of content updating) and a WordPress theme was customized to suit their needs. The website was also made usable across smartphones and tablets.
