PROJECT DETAILS

The Project:

The Italian Market was looking for a website revamp that would reflect the changes in their menu, services and the overall new look since the main location's renovation. The website was also in need of adapting for the use of smartphones and tablets.

The Solution: The project began by establishing the need for new pages, and a re-structured navigation. The website was built using the popular CMS WordPress for ease of making changes to the website on a consistent bases. Two restaurant menu pages were created to differentiate between the Young St. and Barrington Place locations. All menus were updated and expanded upon, and the recipes on the old website were re-structured into posts and now allows visitors to easily print them. The restaurant and catering menu are highlighted as buttons on the homepage for ease of access to the information on desktop and mobile devices along with the phone number and catering contact email being highlighted above the website navigation. The website also reflects the Italian Market Young Street new renovated look of black, yellow, and red colors along with wooden textures. Chalkboard graphics were used throughout the website food menus to reflect the chalkboard menus within the restaurants.
